2001 GRAY GELDING

This is a heavy muscled, big bodied gray 15-2 and 1/2 Hand gelding that weighs 1,250-1,300 pounds. Sonny has won money at jackpots in the Heading and has been hauled quite a bit. Sonny is quiet in the box, breaks hard, runs hard to cattle, and is strong at the horn. Sonny was used extensively on a ranch before he was ever started in the arena roping. All the ranching background gave Sonny a good foundation and solid mind to help him excel in the roping arena. Sonny would be good for a #3 and up roper and is currently being hauled to ropings by a #5 Header. Sonny is very gentle and safe to ride as previous owner was 57-year old woman who ranched on him.
